Phone & Online Booking Terms & Conditions
These are our standard conditions and apply to bookings made over the phone or by email. For all other conditions, including on line bookings, please refer to your confirmation email. The payment of your deposit confirms that you have read & understood all of the booking conditions set out below.
Accommodation
Accommodation arrangements are based on using existing bedding. This may mean sharing a double be. Persons under 18 years you must be accompanied by an adult.
Deposit
A deposit subject to the length of your total stay must be paid to confirm your booking. Payment via PayPal, EFT or phoning through the credit card details for processing. The person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted, and by making the booking represents to Getaway On Grafton that he/she is authorized to accept, the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking.
Arrivals
Upon arrival, each guest will be required to sign a standard Getaway On Grafton registration form, and accept the terms and conditions theirin of his/her stay. Check in is at 2.00 p.m. and checkout is at 10.00 a.m. promptly. We will endeavor to arrange an early check in for guests arriving from interstate or overseas, however please remember that the previous guests have not checked out until 10.00 am and the apartments must be thoroughly cleaned.
Departures
On check out, please return your key and check with reception for any outstanding amounts on room charge (phone etc). If you have checked out without going to reception, any charges left on your account will charged to your credit card. Lost or un-returned keys are charged @ $25 each per key and per tag.
You are responsible to leave your apartment with dishes done (left clean in dishwasher acceptable) in a clean and tidy state. A cleaning charge of one nights accommodation at rack rate will be charged to your credit card if your apartment is left in an unacceptable manner.
Final Payment
Final payment for your accommodation is due on arrival. There are a few exceptions. All prices quoted include GST. If the number of people booked to share the property changes, we must be notified immediately of the revised number of people booked so a new rate can be confirmed and the property notified. Confirmations and invoices are subject to re-issue if incorrect through error or omission and the guest accepts the liability to then pay the correct cost or to decline to retain the reservation.
Getaway on Grafton accepts all VISA and Mastercard credit cards. If paying in Cash, a room security bond will be required upon arrival, minimum of first night accommodation. Cheques are not accepted as payment for accommodation unless received, banked and cleared 10 days prior to arrival as a full pre-paid deposit.
Cancellations
All prices are correct at time of publishing and are subject to change. Whilst every effort is made by us to provide current and correct quotes for your stay, Getaway On Grafton will not be held responsible for human error in quoting tariffs and reserves the right to correct or adjust prices incorrectly quoted.
Accommodation
Every effort is made by us to ensure that your accommodation is of the type you have requested with the amenities you have asked for and in the desired location. Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control or without our knowledge may occur. Getaway On Grafton will not be responsible for any construction noise or disturbance that may occur on or near your accommodation. Construction sites we are aware of we will tell you about before you proceed with a booking.
Service
A complimentary linen change will be done on the 5th day (excluding Sundays & Public Holidays) You will receive start up amenities for tea and coffee, bathroom, dishwashing and laundry. Cleaning facilities, broom, mop, dust-pan are provided for you and you can borrow the vacuum from management free of charge.
Pool towels are provided for exclusive use around the pool and must not be taken off site. Lost or damaged towels are charged at $20 per towel.
Bonds & Security Deposits
A bond or a Credit Card authorisation is held by the property manager as security against any damage or undue wear and tear. All Damages, breakages or losses to the property, furniture or furnishings will be paid for by the tenant and must be reported to the Manager of you accommodation immediately. The loss of keys will attract a replacement and call out cost. If paying in Cash, a room security bond will be required upon arrival, minimum of first night accommodation.
Security Arrangements
If Security is called out to the property because of a complaint, you may have to pay a call out fee and you may be evicted for breeching any of these Terms & Conditions.
Excessive Noise & Functions
Excessive noise and functions are not permitted as they can cause disruption to neighbours. A security company may be called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behaviour incurring a charge for call out. After one warning guests may be evicted.

Cancellations
- Where a cancellation is made within 48 hours of prior to check-in - One night's accommodation will apply. If no arrival time is specified, it is deemed by 10pm of that day. Any cancellation fee will automatically be charged to the credit card on the confirmation, or deducted from the reservation deposit.
- Where a cancellation is made within 7 days prior to check-in - deposit is non refundable.
- An administration fee of $20 will be charged for all cancellations.
- Additionally the balance of deposit will be refunded only if notice of cancellation is received at least 14 days prior to the intended date of arrival.
- Bookings that fall into the High Season, 30 days notice for cancellation is required. A cancellation fee of $50 is applicable for cancellations over peak periods.
- No refund will be made for any early departure.Pricing Policy
