Cairns Domestic Airport and Cairns International Airport are located right next to each other.

SOME HELPFUL TIPS

If there is no TAXI waiting at the rank when you arrive, there is a button on the pillar which will automatically call a taxi for you. Alternately, the phone number for the taxi service is 131 008.

There is also a dedicated UBER Pick-Up Location. You will see the UBER logo on pillars as you exit the airport doors so make sure you're waiting here for your UBER. 

If arriving after hours, keys can be collected from the night safe at the foyer. Instructions will be sent to your provided email/mobile number PRIOR to your arrival. Please ensure you have these instructions with you.          

Cairns Domestic Airport and Cairns International Airport are located right next to each other. Travel by car will take approximately 7 minutes.

From the airport

• Head west on Airport Avenue (25metres)
• At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and stay on Airport Ave (2.4km)
• Turn left onto Lake St (first left)
• Continue straight through 3 roundabouts to stay on Lake St. 
• At the 4th roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Upward Street
• Take the first left onto Grafton St
• Getaway on Grafton is located your right.

The train will arrive into Cairns at the Cairns Central Station (located at Cairns Central Shopping Centre). 

We recommend getting a taxi from Cairns Central Station to Getaway on Grafton.

Taxis can be caught at the dedicated taxi rank beside the train station and will cost approximately AUD$10 (+50% if maxi taxi is required.
