Getaway Cairns Holiday Apartments – Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
No deposit will be taken. A valid credit card must be supplied upon booking to guarantee your allocation. The full amount will be processed 3 days prior to arrival with the card provided upon booking. You will be emailed a confirmation of your reservation and again once the full payment has been made. No Card Fees.
The person effecting a booking shall be deemed to have accepted, and by making the booking represents to Getaway On Grafton that he/she is authorized to accept, the booking conditions on behalf of all persons named in the booking.
BONDS & SECURITY DEPOSITS
Management have the right to a bond of Cash or a Credit Card authorisation and is held as security against any damage or unruly behavior. All Damages, breakages or losses to the property, furniture or furnishings will be paid for by the guest and must be reported to the Manager immediately. Management have the right to request a large group deposit bond on or prior to arrival, this can be a minimum of 2 nights rate per apartment as the bond – check the terms and rates with management. The loss of keys will attract a replacement and call out cost. If paying in Cash, a room security bond will be required upon arrival, minimum of first night accommodation at full one night rate.

. 100% of total fare will apply for cancellations or modifications within 3 days of arrival date.

. NO REFUND will be made for Weather events (ie: storms), flight delays, personal sickness or changed circumstances etc – please seek travel insurance.
Includes up to 4 persons using existing bedding. Extra persons (max 2) at an extra charge. All prices are correct at time of publishing and are subject to change. Whilst every effort is made by staff to provide current and correct quotes for your stay, Getaway Cairns Holiday Apartments will not be held responsible for human error in quoting tariffs and reserves the right to correct or adjust prices incorrectly quoted.
“At the time of booking” We will match any online advertised price for Getaway on Grafton apartments. The price must be for the same time period, same apartment type and same number of guests. You must be able to validate your claim. Not available for any other promotions or discounts.
“At the time of booking”. (ie: if booked then found at a later date that the price is cheaper.. this will not be backed by the guarantee)
Promotions advertised by Getaway on Grafton are only available for direct bookings ie: phone bookings or website bookings. Promotions must be mentioned at the time of booking either by phone or in the comments section when booking through our website. Corporate/Long Stay/discounted rates are not eligible for any promotions advertised. Any cancellations will void any offers (e.g. wine & chocolates). Promotions are not available with any other discounted rates from our site or any online agent. PROMO rooms are not eligible for the wine and chocolate promotions. Promotional gifts, etc cannot be exchanged for money or discounts on room rates. Eligibility to promotions is at the discretion of the manager at the time of the request.
PHONE & ONLINE BOOKING
These are our standard conditions and apply to bookings made over the phone or by email. For all other conditions, including online bookings, please refer to your confirmation email. The payment of your account confirms that you have read & understood all of the booking conditions set out below.
Final payment for your accommodation is due 3 days prior to arrival. There are a few exceptions. All prices quoted include GST. If the number of people booked to share the property changes, we must be notified immediately of the revised number of people booked so a new rate can be confirmed and the property notified. Confirmations and invoices are subject to re-issue if incorrect through error or omission and the guest accepts the liability to then pay the correct cost or to decline to retain the reservation. Any adjustments to our cancellation/amendment times may be liable for extra fees or no refunds etc.
Getaway on Grafton accepts all VISA, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. If paying in Cash, a room security bond will be required upon arrival, minimum of first night accommodation. Cheques are not accepted as payment for accommodation unless received, banked and cleared 10 days prior to arrival as a full pre-paid deposit. EFT payment is accepted and must be received prior to arrival with notification and authority to do so by management.
Upon arrival, each guest will be required to sign a standard Getaway On Grafton registration form, and accept the terms and conditions there in of his/her stay. Check in is at 2.00 p.m. and checkout is at 10.00 a.m. promptly. Failing to advise management of extra persons sleeping in the apartment will give management the right to charge an extra persons fee (minimum $50) without notice to the card provided.
On check out, please return your key and check with reception for any outstanding amounts on room charge (phone etc). If you have checked out without going to reception, any charges left on your account will be charged to your credit card. Lost or un-returned keys are charged up to $130. Safe Keys will require a $100 replacement fee. You are responsible to leave your apartment with dishes done (left clean in dishwasher acceptable) in a clean and tidy state. A cleaning charge of $250 will be charged to your credit card if your apartment is left in an unacceptable manner. No refund for early departures.
Accommodation arrangements are based on using existing bedding. This may mean sharing a double bed. Persons under 18 years you must be accompanied by an adult. Moving mattresses to the living area, furniture to the balcony, hang towels or clothing items on the balcony is a breach of your agreement and penalties apply.
Pricing is based on using existing bedding with up to 4 guests. A maximum of 2 extra guests are permitted as Extra Persons. They will be provided with a foldaway bed, linen, blankets and towels. People sleeping on the lounges will not be tolerated and may be charged for a furniture clean. Failure to advise of extra persons sleeping in the apartment will incur a penalty fee of $50 per night per person.
A complimentary linen change will be done on the 5th day or as per your booking arrangement. You will receive start-up amenities for tea and coffee, bathroom, dish-washing and laundry, toilet paper. Cleaning facilities, broom, mop, dust-pan are provided for you and you can borrow the vacuum from management free of charge. Pool towels are available for hire for the duration of your stay.
If Security or Police is called out to the property because of breached conditions:
**You will be liable for a minimum $440 call out fee
**Loss of bond
**May be evicted – therefore terminating stay.

EXCESSIVE NOISE AND FUNCTIONS
Excessive noise and functions are not permitted as they can cause disruption to neighbours. In the event management is called to settle the disruption, the management have the right to keep your bond and you may be asked to leave the premises. If a security company is called to investigate complaints of excessive noise or anti-social behavior a call out fee will occur. After one warning guests may be evicted. We have a NO PARTY, ZERO NOISE policy which is strongly enforced, therefore please consider if Getaway on Grafton is suitable accommodation for your requirements. See above security arrangements.
You are welcome to have visitors during your stay here at Getaway Cairns Holiday Apartments. Visitors are welcome to use the pool & BBQ whilst they are in your company. If you intend to have 3 or more visitors at any one time, management must be notified for permission. Visitors are not to use the secure parking and must be off premises by 10pm. Visitors are not be given the gate code for security regulations. WIFI if not to be given to guests. If any guests have stayed without our consent / payment, we have the right to terminate your stay and no refunds will be given.
